What is Permanent Cosmetics?

Permanent Makeup, also known as Intradermal Pigmentation, is a revolutionary method of applying natural pigments into the dermal layer of skin. This state-of-the-art technique is medically proven and specifically designed to be completely safe.

Permanent makeup is used for a variety of cosmetic enhancements such as permanent eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip liner/color. Other permanent makeup procedures include vitiligo, scalp camouflage, scar camouflage, 3D areola restoration, hairline enhancement, and more. Permanent makeup has also been used to cover-up stretchmarks, birthmarks, freckles/age spots, and uneven skin discolorations.

Hair-Stroked Eyebrows

The Intradermal Pigmentation procedure for eyebrows can mimic the appearance of hair in the brow line. Anyone who desires more fullness of the brows will love the procedure (and the time saved not applying makeup!) Those who used to apply pencil can go swimming, play tennis, or wipe their forehead without the embarrassment of losing their eyebrows. Those suffering from alopecia (hair loss) are pleasantly surprised at how natural it looks.

Anyone who wants a fuller eyebrows will love this. This is wonderful for active people and will save time in the application of makeup. This can be done in a powder fill background. Hair strokes or a filled background with hair strokes on top of it.

Eyeliner

A subtle, natural look, mimicking thousands of tiny eyelashes with the implantation of pigments in the lash line is popular with both male and female clients. Additional shadowing of color can be added for a soft natural liner or a more bold, definite line can be achieved. Ophthalmologists recommend Intradermal Cosmetic procedures for those who are allergic to conventional makeup and for those wearing contact lenses.

This procedure can be done for a natural look in the lash line to a bolder definite line. Doctors

recommend this for people with makeup allergies.

Lip Liner or Full Color

The Intradermal Pigmentation procedure for lip color is beautiful. It can appear to change the size and shape of the lips as well as the color. This procedure helps prevent lipstick from bleeding into the surrounding skin. Many people request a soft pink, similar to the lip color to that of an infant, for those who want a natural look. Others may desire a dramatic effect.

Dermal Needling

Dermal Needling also known as Fractional Collagen Induction Therapy creates tiny micro channels in the skin, stimulating your own natural healing response, encouraging new cellular growth of collagen and elastin restoring your skin to a naturally youthful glow.

Dermal Needling is used to improve the appearance of scars, wrinkles, and other facial disfigurements.

We several different State of the Art techniques that have been developed and performed by dermatologists, plastic surgeons and dermagraphic specialists from around the world and have been designed to be safe and effective.

Our goal is to provide acceptable alternative treatments for certain types of facial disfigurements leaving the patient looking and feeling great!

These treatments can be used to:

• smooth fine lines and wrinkles

• acne scars

• burn scars

• skin graft scars

• surgical scars

• cleft lip scars

• to re pigment scar tissue

• Improve appearance and self esteem without surgery!

3D Areola Reconstruction

The areola or nipple area can become discolored overtime or following surgery. Mastectomy or breast augmentation surgery can result in loss of the areola complex or scarring. This area can be simply re-pigmented or given a 3D effect to give the nipple the illusion of protrusion.

Alopecia Correction

Alopecia is the state of lacking hair where it usually would grow, especially on the head. Alopecia, which affects 50% of males known as a receding hairline/brow, many times is worsened due to stress and lack of sleep; it is also a common side-effect of face lifts. As far as permanent makeup is concerned with alopecia, we help straighten and fill in thinning hair regions along the hairline, sideburns, eyebrows, in small balding spots, etc.

Stretchmark & Scar Camouflage

The process of camouflaging stretchmarks and scars is a simple process of blending the discolored scarred/stretched area with your natural pigment colors surrounding the affected area. The final result is beautiful and dramatically reduces the appearance of scars, and in some cases, completely covers them up. This camouflage procedure has been used to permanently conceal face lift scars, stretchmarks, surgical and accidental related scars, and many others, all to help create that natural look.

Microdermabrasion

This works best on superficial skin problems like fine lines, dull skin, brown spots, mild acne scars and age spots. This non-surgical method can improve or eliminate superficial skin problems. It works on all skin types and colors -- producing subtle changes, causing no skin color change or scarring.

Micro-exfoliation utilizes the Diamondtome method. This method uses no aluminum oxide crystals only diamond-head wands to rejuvenate the skin. This is the only method that can be performed around the delicate eye area.

Vitiligo Camouflage

Vitiligo is a dermatological condition characterized patches of skin discoloration and pigment destruction. This may vary from one or two white spots on the skin to large areas of depigmentation. For some people, although not for everyone, the depigmentation is progressive. Permanent Makeup can help cover up and fill-in these light patches of skin by color-matching your skin tone and evening out the your color.

Micro-needling

The Rejuvapen Automatic Therapy System utilizes 9 precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, vertical, micro perforations into the epidermis and the top layer of the dermis. As a result, the skin shifts it’s natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair these micro-perforations. The self-repairing property of the skin is a 100% natural form of skin renewal from the inside out. The advantage of the Rejuvapen™ compared to other treatments is that it not only activates cell regeneration, it also enhances the absorption of active ingredients ingredients of RP Complex™ into the skin during the treatment before the skin closes. Your skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced, pores become finer, circulation is stimulated and the overall condition of the skin improves.

Electrolysis

This is permanent hair removal that has been around for 137 years. Utilizing Galvanic(direct) current Themolysis (high frequency current) or a blend of both. Leaving this the most permanent of all methods of hair removal. This procedure can be performed on all hair colors and on all areas of the body. Karin's Korner has been successfully performing these treatments since 1981.
